Little Green Light offers two features that increase your security when you log into your LGL account. First, you can turn on Two-Step Verification, which requires that anyone logging into your LGL account also enter a code that is emailed to their email address at the time of login (the code is valid for under ten minutes). Second, any user can turn on a notification to be alerted anytime someone logs into their LGL account from a geographical location they haven’t used before.
Little Green Light is accessed through SSL-encrypted connections—the same level of security used by online banks. This type of connection establishes the authentication of the website and the web server, which protects against man-in-the-middle attacks. Additionally, it provides encryption on both sides of the communications to protect against eavesdropping and tampering with or forging the contents of your transmission. Internal access to Little Green Light servers and customer data is strictly controlled.
Nonprofits using Little Green Light retain all rights to the data they provide to the service. Little Green Light treats all data provided by its users and customers as strictly confidential. Little Green Light complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce (the “Privacy Shield”).
We use RAID storage for maximum data protection and integrity.
All customer data is backed up daily and stored on multiple servers for redundancy.
Backups are kept for 90 days.
