Updates to LGL Email (in beta)

Here at Little Green Light, we’ve been hard at work on an update to the LGL Email feature. The upgraded version is currently in beta, which means that while it has been fully tested internally it is still subject to further development and there could be changes before it is fully released. If you are eager to try out the new version, and if you are open to being an “early adopter,” then please read on and join our webinar on November 3.

The new version can be enabled in any LGL account by going to Mailings > Emails and clicking the blue  “Enable New Email Features” button. 

Clicking that button will switch LGL Email to start using the new email builder, which provides the ability to schedule emails up to 30 days in advance. The change is account-wide, so if you enable the new option all of your users will be using it. You have the option to change your mind, however, and revert to the original LGL Email feature (at least for the next handful of months).

Using the updated LGL Email features, you can:

• Add elements, or blocks, to your emails, including headings, text blocks, images, buttons, and more
• Control global design for an email, setting colors for the page background and content background
• Control styling for border colors and corner styles
• Easily see which constituents are selected to receive emails and who is being excluded because their record does not meet the “Can send email” criteria
• Preview emails to see how they will look on computers and mobile devices
• Easily view recipients’ salutation, email address, and addressee values, and have the ability to edit those on the fly
• Schedule emails up to 30 days in advance
