The team here at Little Green Light is excited to share a brand-new resource now available for all Little Green Light users to access, right from within their LGL account—the Little Green Light Community!
The Little Green Light Community is a private, online community for LGL users and enthusiasts to connect with one another, share ideas, and grow in their knowledge and usage of our product.
We’ve built our new community using Circle, a platform loaded with features that allows us to create a growing and thriving space for you to be inspired, informed, and engaged with one another.
When you log into the Community, your Feed is where you can easily keep track of new posts, announcements, and event updates from the spaces you’re involved in. You can quickly see trending posts and upcoming events. You can also customize how posts are sorted in the Feed, including using the For you sort (which highlights posts that are both new and active).
We’ve created some dedicated spaces for specific topics, making it easy to find the information you most need. Have a question you’d like other LGL users to weigh in on? Hop over to the Ask the Community space. Have a great idea for a new LGL feature? Visit the Request a Feature space to suggest a new one or add your vote to someone’s idea. Wondering how you can take advantage of some of LGL’s coolest features? Check out the Ah-ha Moment space where LGL users share a discovery they’ve made in LGL that helped them elevate their use of the product.
Now it’s easier than ever to see who in your geographic area is using Little Green Light and connect with them. There’s a cool Member Map feature that you can access in the Members tab of the Community. See who’s in your area, click on their Profile to learn more about them, and connect via Chat or IRL. How cool is that? Tip: Make sure you’ve added your location to your Profile, so other members can find you too!
Want to quickly access all our live webinar offerings, downloadable resources, new feature videos, and current blog posts in one place? Now you can—under the Resources Space Group in the Community. Keep an eye out for a new downloadable resource published each month in the Free Downloads space. Also be sure to see the Links on the Community home page to quickly access the LGL Knowledge Base, learn about our Refer a Friend and Affiliate programs, and more.
If you’re a current Little Green Light user—including those in a free trial period—you can instantly join the Community directly from your LGL account. Visit either your Profile page or the Help page in your LGL account and click the LGL Community link. Former users are also welcome to log in and participate by using their existing LGL credentials via mylgl.littlegreenlight.com.
Note: In order to maintain a helpful and secure environment where LGL enthusiasts can engage with one another, our Community remains private and is not open to the general public. If you don’t currently have an LGL account but would like to join us, please submit a request. Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Once you log into the Community for the first time, you’ll be prompted to complete your Profile (be sure to add your location and nonprofit type), and then you’ll land in our Start Here space.
