An organization dashboard is now available to any LGL user with Administrator-level privileges. This dashboard can have a different layout than the user’s customized dashboard view that is uniform across the organization. You can now also print the entire dashboard as displayed, as well as individual dashboard widgets. Individual widgets can also be downloaded as a JPEG or PNG file.
Double the Donation discovers matching gift opportunities and nudges donors to submit their matching gift request directly to their employer. This integration, built by Double the Donation, pulls recent gift transactions, by gift categories you select, from your LGL account on a nightly basis. This new enhancement complements the earlier integration built by LGL into LGL Forms.

‘We have added a “Refresh” command and “Last updated date/time” to the Alerts widget on the dashboard so that users can be sure they are referencing the most current data.
Some users were interested in understanding how much money their organization received due to the additional 3% optional fee in LGL Forms. To address this, we have made available an “Added 3%?” field in the donations/payments submissions export available within LGL Forms so that organizations can track whether a donor opted to add that additional amount to their gift.
A gift that is submitted through an LGL form using ACH payment now receives an email confirmation when the form is submitted, rather than needing to wait until the ACH transfer completes.
When a task was created using a due date but no due time, Google calendar was not interpreting these as all-day events and instead created tasks due at midnight or 1:00 AM. We have updated the Calendar function so the event is now correctly interpreted by Google calendar as an all-day event.
When merging two constituent records, the birthday, annual_report_name, honorary_name, and maiden_name were not included in the merge, in some cases. These fields have now been added to the merge.
When merging volunteer categories, related volunteer records were not always changed to the updated values. This has been fixed.
When searching using an ampersand in the search term, unexpected results were previously being returned. This has been corrected.
For cloned gift records that were coded “Do not acknowledge via LGL”, the cloned record would appear to have the same acknowledgment status assigned as the original gift. It also could not be edited. However, saving the cloned gift record did not then save the acknowledgment preference. This has now been fixed.
Some users experienced unexpected behavior when trying to include the “Constituent Date Added” field and the “Task Updated Date” field in Task reports. This has been fixed.
In Reports, removing line breaks was not working consistently. This has been corrected.
There was previously an issue with Report Template behavior where the page would refresh unexpectedly and modified fields were not saved. This has now been fixed.
In some cases, when a pledge attached to a goal was paid down, the amount due on the Goal screen was not being updated to reflect the payments that were made. This has been fixed.
The character limit for the organization “Sort Name” would sometimes cause display issues. This has now been updated so that the character limit for the sort name matches the character limit for the organization name of 255 characters.
The “Submissions” link for Wufoo submissions was previously taking users to the Unsaved tab of the Integration Queue, which was not where they expected to land. The link now opens the Submissions page. Saved, Unsaved, and Rejected links have also been separated out for ease of navigation.
Previously, the Total Raised by Type and Year dashboard widget did not display the data as referring to YTD if that selection had been set as part of creating the PDF. This denotation has now been added so the PDF clearly displays the selected time period.
When using the Flex Importer to add a gift, the user who imported the gift was previously not being displayed in the “Related activity” section of the constituent record, though the user was attached to the gift record because they performed the import. This has now been fixed.
When editing relationships for a constituent and adding a new value for a relationship type, clicking “Save” did not previously save the new relationship type. This has now been fixed.
After creating a gift and assigning an acknowledgment template to it, if the constituent the gift was assigned to was changed a new acknowledgment letter would previously also be created, resulting in two acknowledgment letters being generated for the same gift. This has been corrected and the original acknowledgment letter is now updated with the updated constituent’s information.
Contact information fields were previously displaying in a different order when the user edited the data versus when they viewed it. The fields have now been reordered so they are consistent when editing and when viewing.
Sorting of completed tasks by due date previously used the completion date if there was one, making the sort results appear out of order. Sorting tasks by due date now only looks at the due date value.
Previously, when using the full form to add a new constituent and then checking the “Add gift for constituent after saving?” box, saving and entering the gift prompted the user to add another gift for the same constituent and didn’t allow the process to be canceled. This has now been fixed.
When all gifts related to a tribute notification were deleted previously, the notification itself was not also deleted. This has now been fixed.
Gifts with Canadian receipt numbers previously sometimes appeared to be duplicated in LGL Forms submissions. These gifts were not actually duplicated. However, the display issue has been fixed so that the gifts are no longer displaying twice.
Very long names for forms payment processing accounts caused formatting issues in the display of payment account names, creating an extended selection box width. This has now been fixed.
Some donors were unable to complete their donation when forms were using ProPay as the payment processor due to an unrecognized code being supplied during the payment communication. This has been fixed.
Some forms were previously being submitted without required fields being filled in when the form information was updated. We have added a check for required fields when the form information is updated so this can no longer happen.
Previously, users could click the Back button in forms with amounts/quantity and select 0 for the quantity. This allowed some forms to be submitted with a 0 quantity even when a quantity was required. This has now been fixed.
In forms, when a reservation for a $0 inventory item was not obtained and the submission was canceled, the submission was still being sent to LGL. This has now been fixed.
When the payment processor for a form had been changed, any recurring payments that used the original payment processor assigned to the form previously could not be updated. This has now been fixed.
When an Amount description contained the words “true” or “false”, this was causing issues in the code that resulted in the form not appearing as expected. For example, it was no longer possible to edit the description for an Amount field. This has now been fixed.
Some users previously experienced time zone fluctuations when refreshing forms, as if the time zone was not set. This has now been fixed.
For ACH transfers being used as payment in LGL Forms, pending transfers were previously not being counted toward inventory limits in applicable forms. This has now been fixed.
