Automated queueing for QBO through the PayPal IPN
It’s now possible to automatically queue gifts to QuickBooks Online through the PayPal IPN, via a new gift creation preference in the field mapping for the PayPal IPN integration:
Add transaction type to PayPal integration
It’s now possible to map the transaction type of a gift collected through your PayPal integration, allowing recurring gifts to be tracked separately from one-time gifts, for example.
Sum total added to the “Donor Summary by Year” widget
Sum totals have now been added to the “Donor Summary by Year” widget on the LGL dashboard:
Forms: Payment processor in LGL forms now included in export
The payment processor (Stripe, PayPal, or ProPay) that is used in a gift submission is now included in the LGL forms submission export.
Forms: “Download” buttons now displaying for full recurring gift report even if there are no current transactions
Previously, when there were no current transactions in LGL forms it was not possible to download the recurring submissions report. It’s now possible to download this report regardless of current transactions being present, using the buttons shown below.
Forms: Requirement that users be logged into PayPal to make recurring gifts now clarified
For a donor to make a recurring gift through an LGL form that is using only PayPal as the payment processor, they must be logged into a PayPal account. When your LGL form is set up to offer only PayPal to process donations that may be recurring, an alert will display, warning you of this.
A great solution to this issue is to use PayPal with Stripe, which allows recurring gifts to be donated by PayPal and non-PayPal users alike.
Forms: Ability for fee coverage button to follow conditional display rules
It’s now possible to make the 3% fee conditional upon payment in a form, so the option will display only when a gift amount is being submitted.
Sent mailings that are renamed not updating the mailing name within the constituent record
For mailings that have been marked “Sent”, when the name of a mailing was updated the name did not update within the mailing “activity” in the constituent record. This has now been fixed.
Appeals not removable from mailings
The ability to remove an appeal from a mailing was previously not working. This has now been fixed.
Problem with calculated addressee for organization export field resolved
The “Calculated addressee” export function was previously not including the contact name and organization name, if that was the preference for the account. This has now been fixed.
Email addresses containing apostrophes now considered valid
Previously, email addresses in constituent records that contained punctuation, such as an apostrophe, would be flagged as invalid. This has been fixed so that email addresses now allow certain punctuation marks such as a period, a plus sign, or an apostrophe.
Apostrophes in mailing type names no longer causing an error
For mailing types that can be customized, using an apostrophe in the mailing type name previously caused an error. This has now been fixed.
Blank value for gift category now shown when editing, if category is blank
When a gift without a category assigned was edited previously, it appeared to have a gift category assigned, leading to confusion for users. This has been fixed.
Apparent ability to update gift records that have been synced to QBO now resolved
For LGL gift records that have been synced to QBO, it previously appeared as if it was possible to edit the constituent name in those gifts. That was not possible to do, and the gift records will no longer appear as though it is.
Named tribute recipients not populating via import
Previously, if you imported a gift assigned to a tribute but didn’t include tribute recipient data and that data was already defined in the tribute, the notification would not generate. This has now been fixed.
Editing/setting preferred contact info and sharing contact info again possible within Constituent Details
Previously, it was not possible to edit the individual lines of constituent contact information from the Constituent Details page. This has now been fixed.
Account created date added to Subscription Settings > General
The date an account was created has been added to the Settings > Subscription Settings > General page.
Forms: Net amount not properly calculated when the recurring payment amount changed
The net amount (gift amount minus transaction fee) of a recurring payment, set when the payment was first submitted, was not updating the gift amount being brought over to LGL when the recurring payment amount was later updated. This has now been fixed.
Forms: Don’t allow “Resubmit payment” button to be double-clicked
On a failed recurring payment, you can click “Resubmit payment” if a payment has succeeded in the past and it has been less than two weeks since the payment failed. It was previously possible to double-click the “Resubmit payment” button, which could then double-submit the payment. This has been fixed.
Forms: Hidden Amount form fields being displayed to end user
For cases where promo codes were being used with multiple Amount fields, only one should have displayed at a time. But when the payment button was clicked the amount that should have been hidden would display. This has now been fixed.
Forms: “Amount – Details” Display Rules not working for “Suggested with Quantity” fields
Previously, you could not create conditional display rules based on the “Amount – Details” text within a “Suggested with Quantity” field. This has now been fixed.
Forms: Ability to reset count/fix count if excess submissions are removed
When a submission is deleted in LGL forms, it is no longer counted toward the submission cap or inventory allocation.
