America SCORES Selects Little Green Light

America SCORES, a national nonprofit comprising 14 affiliate offices, recently selected Little Green Light as their donor management CRM. America SCORES inspires urban youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world. They partner with urban schools to provide a high quality, team-based program that integrates soccer, poetry and service-learning.

Two of the affiliates, Boston and Milwaukee, have been active LGL customers for over a year, and now almost all of the other affiliates and the national office are joining them. John Eggebrecht of America SCORES Milwaukee commented, “LGL has changed our organization. Donor acquisition and tracking couldn’t be easier. Since we jumped on the LGL bandwagon, our donor base has greatly increased. Aside from donor tracking, we’ve been able to track all of our volunteers, showing just how much people really are involved with our mission.”

LGL is delighted to be working with such a terrific organization.

	At The White House: In May 2012, 34 America SCORES students from programs in DC, St. Louis and Denver traveled to The White House to participate in the Let’s Move Soccer Clinic with First Lady Michelle Obama and Major League Soccer Champions LA Galaxy.
	Poetry SLAM! Year a­fter year each America SCORES city hosts a local Poetry SLAM! – a spoken word event that celebrates their students’ work. Two outstanding poet-athletes from each local Poetry SLAM! are then flown to New York City to perform live on a national stage. That big event will take place on April 8, 2013, at the New York Stock Exchange.
