We’re excited to share two updates that should be of interest to LGL customers who manage a lot of volunteers. Both involve Civic Champs, a volunteer management software application serving hundreds of nonprofits. Civic Champs makes it simple for organizations to schedule volunteering opportunities and makes it easy and fun for volunteers to sign up.
Getting all your volunteer entries into your donor management system can be a big help as you steward your contributors, because this lets you see who is contributing across both volunteering and donations. And, with Civic Champs being built for scheduling and managing volunteers and LGL built to help with donor stewardship, we’re excited to bring these two services together.
The first bit of news is that we are launching an improved integration with Civic Champs. After several months of a pilot integration, this revamped integration is quick and easy to set up and creates a completely automated flow of volunteering entries from Civic Champs to LGL. Entries sync as you enter them in Civic Champs, and you can even batch sync past entries. Civic Champs is available on the Integration Settings page in your LGL account (we’ll remove the “beta invitation” tag as soon as it’s fully launched, expected in mid-January).
Secondly, we are happy to participate with Civic Champs in a three-part webinar series on how you can maximize the use of volunteers at your organization.
Each webinar will also include a walkthrough of the integration between Civic Champs and Little Green Light.
