LGL statement re: COVID-19

Statement regarding COVID-19 and how it affects Little Green Light

These are unprecedented times. The impact of COVID-19 is being felt across the world, in every community. With all of the uncertainty that the Novel Coronavirus has brought with it, we wanted to give you an update on what’s happening with LGL and what you can expect from us in the coming months.

First, please know that all of us at Little Green Light continue to be available to support your work in LGL. Our staff has always operated as an entirely distributed workforce, and we are fully up and running. Though we are offering our staff any time off that they need to care for themselves or their loved ones, we remain ready and able to assist you by email, through our training webinars, and through our continuous software improvement work. In the event of a substantial change in our ability to provide our usual level of support, we will update this statement.

Second, we have redundant systems (one on each coast) in place in case there’s a need to fail over, and as always we maintain daily backups of every LGL account.

Finally, we want to make sure you continue to have the best possible experience working with Little Green Light. If you have any questions, just drop us a line through the Help page in your account or through the Contact Us form on our website.

Sincerely,

The Little Green Light team

P.S. You have probably heard about this already, but in an effort to help spread the word, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act has now been signed. It includes provisions to help nonprofits, including forgivable small business loans. The National Council of Nonprofits provides some helpful analysis: How Nonprofits Can Utilize the New Federal Laws Dealing with COVID-19.

  1. We are using Giftworks for membership management. Will this date have to be manually reloaded into LGL?

Does LGL interface with Greenvelope? QuickBooks? PayPal?

    1. Hi Lee,

Little Green Light include an import tool, which will allow you to upload information in bulk from spreadsheets. So, if you are able to export your data from Giftworks, then you can use our Flex Importer to upload your data all at once. LGL does have direct integrations with PayPal and Quickbooks, but not Greenvelope. You can learn more about all the Integrations here: https://www.littlegreenlight.com/integrations/

      Thanks,
      Timi

  2. Little Green Light always goes the extra mile to support its customers. I have never looked back or questioned our decision to be your customer for these many years. Thank you!

    Stay safe.

  3. Thank you, I know that you are doing a great job despite these circumstances.
There should be some updates soon as to our fund raising since January with new donor giving.

  4. Thank you- we have always appreciated you folks at LGL and still, in these times. Thanks for your assurances- you’re great to work with.
