A subtle but meaningful change for LGL Forms and related developments

Change to LGL Forms

We are in the process of rolling out a change to LGL Forms that will not be noticeable at first glance but will have significant long-term benefits for LGL customers. In brief, we have rewritten much of the code for LGL Forms, which will allow for a tighter integration between it and the donor management database side of all Little Green Light accounts.

The most visible change for now is that the URL (web address) for LGL Forms is changing and will now match the Little Green Light account key. In other words, if your LGL account is at “https://myaccount.littlegreenlight.com”, your URL for LGL Forms will be at that same URL but followed by “/lglforms”. So your LGL Forms account URL would be “https://myaccount.littlegreenlight.com/lglforms”, as opposed to what it has been up until now, “https://admin.lglforms.com/”. See, I told you it was subtle. 🙂

We’re letting you know about this change in case you notice the URL change and are curious about what happened. We have moved several hundred accounts over already and will be moving the rest in the next few weeks.

Note: This change does not in any way affect how your forms’ end users access your forms. In other words, you don’t need to change anything about any forms you’ve embedded on your website, or if you link people to the forms that LGL hosts. No action is needed on your part related to this change.

PayPal Complete Payments

We have built a new integration to PayPal in LGL Forms. This integration uses a completely new and improved platform called PayPal Complete Payments. This updated PayPal integration is available to some accounts already, and we will be rolling it out to all accounts in the next few weeks. Keep an eye on our blog for more information.

QuickBooks

We have built a significant upgrade to our QuickBooks Online integration, which will benefit anyone who uses Stripe as their payment processor for LGL Forms. With this upgrade, we are able to queue up deposits based on your Stripe funds transfers. This will save you lots of time as you’ll no longer need to create those deposits manually in QuickBooks.
