LGL & software integrations

If you want to learn how Little Green Light integrates with many of the software solutions your nonprofit already uses, stay tuned for a few ways you can streamline your work by integrating those tools with your LGL account.

LGL-built and maintained integrations

Little Green Light has built and currently maintains several software integrations, including with QuickBooks Online, Mailchimp, and Constant Contact as well as the Stripe and PayPal payment processing solutions. See our Integrations page for the complete list of these integrations, and get detailed help on setting up and running them in our Knowledge Base section on Integrations.

By connecting these services to LGL, you’ll enjoy greater efficiency—and save time! For instance, when you integrate your QuickBooks Online data to LGL, you’ll eliminate the need for double entry, benefit from increased accounting accuracy, and achieve easier reconciliation between your donor management system and your accounting system.

Note: Although many of the software services require a paid account, LGL does not charge any additional fees to integrate them with your LGL account.

Third-party software integrations

In addition to the software integrations that LGL has built, a growing number of software companies have chosen to build and maintain integrations with LGL. Often these come about because those software providers’ customers are requesting a streamlined way to bring data from that platform into LGL. We have chosen to partner with these software providers because we believe their services are aligned with the needs of LGL customers.

Take a quick look at what these integrations do

Arcada Labs: Syncs WordPress users and data from Gravity Forms and payments from Woo Commerce into LGL

Auctria: Allows you to import auction data into LGL via a specially created Auctria export

Civic Champs: Syncs volunteer time entries from Civic Champs to LGL

CourseStorm: Syncs course registrants and their registrations to LGL

Donorbox: Syncs Donorbox online donations to LGL

Double the Donation: Syncs gifts from your LGL database to check for matching gift potential and syncs to LGL Forms to add matching gift widget

Fundraising Report Card: Syncs LGL giving data and creates visual giving analytics

Landscape: Syncs data between both systems to keep both current

Member Essentials: Syncs member data from Junior Leagues to LGL

Qgiv: Syncs online gifts to LGL processed by Qgiv

RallyUp: Syncs online gifts and peer-to-peer credits

True Givers: Syncs with LGL to keep data clean and up to date with NCOA services and deceased data

Voizee: Syncs with LGL data to send SMS messages or text-to-give campaigns

To get started with any of these integrations, you’ll need an account with the integrated service. For links and help documentation, see our Knowledge Base article on these API-based integrations.

Custom integration options

Looking to connect a software service that is not yet integrated? Check out these custom integration options:

LGL API

The LGL API allows other web-based services to read and write data from and to an LGL account. A software developer is required to program these kinds of integrations.

However, the LGL API is not the only option available. Our Advanced Integration Guide ebook describes four options for creating custom integrations:

  • Webhook endpoints
  • LGL API
  • Zapier
  • Permanent Links for reports

We highly recommend reading this ebook prior to starting any development.

Zapier integration

Zapier is a fee-based service that allows web-based products to send data to each other. When you use Zapier, you can pull data from hundreds of different software solutions and bring it into Little Green Light.

Some popular software solutions LGL customers are connecting with Zapier include Donorbox, GiveButter, Google Forms, Fundraise Up, and Square. It’s even possible to bring social media data into LGL using Zapier.
