Upcoming LGL Webinars and Trainings

Updated August 12, 2025 by Timi Paccioretti

upcoming LGL webinars

Little Green Light offers several online training opportunities throughout the year, including our popular Basic Training webinar series, our weekly Q&A sessions, and occasional special topic webinars.

As a point of interest, we expect to schedule special topic webinars this fall to describe and demo two new product enhancements we think you’ll want to learn about, so be sure to subscribe to our blog and get the up-to-the-minute news when we open our special topic webinars for registration.

LGL Basic Training webinar series

Our Basic Training webinar course, geared for the newest LGL users, covers the very basics of using LGL and includes these main topics: Constituent management, gift management, and reporting. The course is held every other month over a period of 3 weeks, with 2 sessions offered each week.

We are offering two more series this year—in September and November. Our Basic Training series covers the following topics:

  • Session 1: Creating and editing constituent records; relationships and managing households; and managing duplicates
  • Session 2: Constituent categories and bulk constituent editing; running constituent searches; and creating and saving lists
  • Session 3: Adding and editing gifts; using gift coding effectively
  • Session 4: Acknowledging gifts in LGL
  • Session 5: Reports that are built into your LGL account
  • Session 6: Creating custom reports in LGL

Register once for all 6 sessions in each series, and join one or all as your schedule permits.

All registrants will receive a link to a recording of each session. Each recorded session will also be posted in LGL’s Video Library and will include the documents shared in the sessions.

Register for these free sessions on the Help page in your LGL account or by clicking here.

Q&A session offerings

We now offer a sequence of Q&A webinars, depending on where you are in your account tenure. These include a prospective customer Q&A, an onboarding Q&A, and an LGL customer Q&A. All sessions are offered free of charge, and any LGL user or prospective user may attend.

Prospective customer Q&A sessions

If you are considering Little Green Light as your organization’s next donor management software and have specific questions about using LGL, join us for a live Q&A session held weekly. These free sessions are hosted by an LGL expert and will allow you dedicated time to ask questions about your particular situation.

These hour-long webinar sessions are limited to just 4 participants. You can register on the Help page of your LGL account or if you don’t yet have an account, you can register here.

Note: If you would like an overall demo of LGL, we recommend joining our Introductory tour webinar.

Onboarding Q&A sessions

Our new onboarding Q&A sessions are specifically designed for new LGL subscribers who have questions about getting their LGL account up and running successfully. These hour-long sessions are geared for account administrators and are limited to just 4 participants so that you can receive dedicated time with a member of our team. Accounts that have subscribed within the last 90 days can take advantage of this free offering, which is available for signup on the Help page within the user’s LGL account.

LGL customer Q&A sessions

Each week, LGL offers an opportunity to ask questions of our support team via a small group webinar. These customer Q&A sessions are free and included with your LGL subscription. Sessions are limited to 4 participants.

LGL customers can register for an upcoming session by using the link found on the Help page in their LGL account.

Why should I join a Q&A session?

  1. These sessions provide a way for you to watch an LGL expert demonstrate functions, within a demo account, that are most relevant to your questions; you can ask to see a certain feature in action or for steps to be repeated so you can better understand how things work.
  2. This is an opportunity to learn how to effectively describe what you’re trying to accomplish in LGL because there is a back and forth between you and the LGL expert. You will also learn terminology that can help clarify how to use LGL as well as how to formulate questions when you are communicating with LGL staff by email.
  3. Lastly, you can learn from other users’ questions; some of the most important learning happens as you hear other participants’ questions being answered and watch the demonstrations that result.
