QB made easy webinar

With the recent launch of the integration between Little Green Light and QuickBooks Online, we are pleased to announce that we are sponsoring a special webinar series especially for nonprofit users of QuickBooks Online. The 3-part training webinar series, presented by Gregg Bossen, takes place May 21-23, 2019.

A well-known expert in the program, Gregg has been teaching QuickBooks® seminars around the country for various groups since 2000. In this webinar series, he teaches a live seminar designed exclusively for nonprofit organizations, covering a full range of topics on using QuickBooks Online effectively. Please note that this webinar does not cover the new LGL integration with QuickBooks Online.

Little Green Light has been a fan of Gregg’s since 2013, when we attended one of his QuickBooks workshops in Seattle. His deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting and QuickBooks, along with his humorous and relatable demeanor, make him an excellent presenter. We recommend his sessions to anyone involved in accounting operations for nonprofits.

Our relationship with Gregg became much deeper in 2017 when he reached out to see if Little Green Light would be interested in building a QuickBooks integration. Such an integration had been on our to-do list for a long time. Our big hurdle was understanding how the integration should really work. Gregg served as our key consultant on the design of the integration and helped us work through numerous sticking points. Thank you, Gregg!

    1. Hi David,

The webinar’s experience level for QB and LGL is beginner. Day 1 of the series focuses on those who are newer to the software and progresses to more advanced topics on Days 2 and 3. Please note that the webinar does not cover Little Green Light or the LGL integration, except during a short section on Day 2 (May 22) when LGL will give a short presentation.

  1. Please clarify the time of the webinars, since I’m not sure why you would base it on EST during a DST month.

    1. Hi Dick,

Sorry, you’re right, it is Eastern Daylight Time. Put simply, webinars begin at 2:00pm Eastern.

      Thanks,
      Timi

  2. We are in the early stages of converting our books over to QuickBooks. Would it make sense for us to attend the QuickBooks webinar now or would it be more beneficial if we were to wait until we have converted over?

    1. Hi MaryAnn,

The folks presenting the webinar said this: “We are starting with set up stuff so it’s best to come before you convert. This way you’ll get the lay of the land before hand.”
